ICS Practical Flue Lining Installation Course
Course Date Thursday March 18th 2010
All our courses are workshop based where students
will learn practical chimney lining and stove fitting.
Course contents
1. Removing the chimney pot
2. Installing the flexabale liner
3. Connexting liner adaptor and stove pipe
4. Making and fitting the registar plate
5. Insulating the flue
6. Venting the flue
7. Fitting the top plate and clamp
8. Fitting the chimney pot
Learning outcome
Students will be equiped with the practicle skilled needed to effectively install and maintain stoves.
Aplicants will be issued with a certificate at the end of the course certifying them as compete woodburning stove installers.
As a courtesy instructors will also be available for help and guidance following the course completion by contacting the institute of chimney sweeps.
Total price of course including vat £365
Course starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm lunch, tea and coffee are served on the day
